One the reasons New Zealand has such a high quality of clinical care and understanding is the robust research undertaken.
*** Will you help by participating and/or spreading the word with your connections? ***
Massey University are looking for participants in a piece of research. Are you a caregiver of a child born 23-28 weeks gestation who is now 4-6 years old?
Caroline Wilson is a post graduate student at Massey University completing a Master of Nursing Degree, and also a Registered Nurse working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In her words:
- I would like to invite caregivers of children who were born extremely prematurely to share their experiences of what it is like raising a prematurely born child who is now between 4 and 6 years old.
- This will involve an interview that will take around 1 hour. I am interested in hearing about some of the challenges you face and the support services that are available to help you with these.
- Your name will be kept confidential.
- If you are interested in participating or hearing more about this study please contact me by phone, text or email: 021 252 9039 and firstname.lastname@example.org
I am more than happy to discuss the project with you and answer any questions you may have.
