To deliver our support we have a need to fundraise and we're always keen to find ways to raise awareness of neonatal journeys. Fundraising activity covers the cost of resources, the 300 Support packs we provide to families going through the Dunedin NICU and larger purchases such as La Z Boys for the NICU (great for Kangaroo Cuddles) and the 'Baby Sim' training tool for staff development and enhacned outcomes for neonatal babies. Can you help?

If you want to support our work, you can:

  • Make a donation. All donations receive an IRD compliant tax receipt so you can claim it back against your personal income.
  • One Percent LogoSupport with Regular Giving through the One Percent Collective. The Neonatal Trust is privileged to be one of the exclusive group of 11 Partner Charities supported by One Percent Collective They have a unique and fresh model for supporting charities, looking to combine an easy process with flexibility of choice - all underpinned by raising awareness if giving and the charities they support. Their model is perfect for The Neonatal Trust as it means we can focus more of our time on delivering support to families and enhancing what we do.
They help us craft and publish stories to raise awareness. Here's an example of a NICU story (in this case a Dunedin one) shared with their network of thousands of people:
  • Dunedin Incubator PictureWe have a unique 'Incubator donation box' which was recycled from an out-of service incubator from the Dunedin NICU. This provides a very visual way to raise awareness and funds for The Neonatal Trust. The incubator donation box is very secure (screwed shut)
If you know of an event, public space, shop or organisation that may be able to host the incubator please let us know on  For more specific information, here's an information PDF you can print off or email to a prospective supporter.
