Kaleb - A True Fighter’s Story

In August 2009 we were just settling into our new home in our new town, New Plymouth. My 5 yr old was settling into his new school, my husband to his new job and I being 24 weeks pregnant was just chilling, sorting the house. After a previous premature labour I was under a specialist, just in case. Everything was going fine.

Juliet's thriving 15 years later

Juliets story, as told by her mother Marian.  I am the mother of a recently turned 15 year old daughter whose name is Juliet. She was born at Wellington Hospital at a gestation of 24.5 weeks and weighing 725gm. Following 98 days in the Neonatal Unit Juliet . . .

When Daddy’s girl comes early

Premature birth from a father’s perspective.  It was May. Our baby was due in August and were about to start antenatal classes the following week. We were having a party at our house to celebrate my birthday, when my partner Joy had some early contractions . . .
